Seminar on explosives
The seminar entitled “Explosives in Underground Mining – Requirements, Applications, Safety” was another edition of the annual meeting, organized for our clients and partners. The conference took place in October, as usual in Targanice.
The meeting was attended by employees of underground mines, as well as representatives of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków, the Central Mining Institute, the State Mining Authority, and the KGHM’s headquarters and its subsidiaries.
On the first day, the participants took part in lectures. The subject matter of the lectures was related to safety and efficiency of blasting works, “Track and Trace” directive, protection of the mine atmosphere, as well as the use of electronic detonators in underground mining. The meeting was a great opportunity to present the ERGONIC-I electronic initiating system recently introduced to our Company’s offer. It was presented in the lecture part and everyone could take a close look at individual elements of the system at the exhibition stands. This was one of the reasons for the technical consultations that took place on the second day of the seminar.
